Overview

SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented individual to fill the role of Exchange Administrator.  The selected individual will support the Department of State and will require a qualified team member to perform Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Systems monitoring, maintenance, incident resolution and implementation of standard change.  This program supports IRM users globally across the enterprise on a 24x7x365 basis. This position is on the Day Shift (0730 - 1615) Tuesday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor ticketing system to receive work assignments.
  • Focus on systems monitoring for sustained periods, actively mitigating threats to service availability.
  • Follow SOPs and guidelines and provide inputs for improvement.
  • Exchange Incident Resolution.
  • Complete Standard Change.
  • Active Exchange Monitoring and Alert Resolution.
  • Manage major incident management processes.
  • Document and report all service interruptions to email users.
  • Reply to all communications related to Exchange systems errors in a timely manner.
  • Resolve and document ticket escalations received from junior staff members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related IT field or additional years of related IT experience
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 2 – 3 years Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Experience
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
  • Possess strong work commitment to perform on shift as scheduled.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills to escalate problems encountered.
  • Possess advanced literacy in Microsoft Windows Server environment.
  • Experience with Remedy ticketing system.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of basic service delivery best practices and principles.
  • Ability to efficiently manage outages and the corresponding incident management processes.
  • Familiarity with Complete Microsoft Windows Server disaster recovery solutions.
