    SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to stand up an effective federal business capture program to expand our prime pursuits. The primary work location will be at our Dulles, VA corporate headquarters, with occasional travel. Candidates must possess the initiative and drive to cultivate relationships in new customer domains and the strategic instincts to position SkyePoint to win prime contracts.     The Senior Capture Manager will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to execute a realistic, deliberate path to new business prime wins, particularly focused on new business accounts such as DHS, HHS, DoN and expanding existing accounts such as IRS, EPA and DOS. The Senior Capture Manager will lead expansion of SkyePoint’s pipeline, qualify opportunities, create win strategies and develop and execute capture plans for the company to win prime roles. This position requires a talent for effective customer and partner relationship building, expert listening skills and a reputation for attaining trusted advisor status with customers.


    • Identify potential small business (including CIO-SP3 SB) and JV/socioeconomic opportunities within DHS and other new customer domains
    • Lead full-lifecycle pursuit from identification, qualification and win strategy, through proposal submission
    • Develop a win strategy that creates a SkyePoint value proposition by addressing customer hot buttons, the competition and SkyePoint capabilities
    • Translate the win strategy into a capture plan to include win themes, technical solution, discriminators, competitive analysis, teaming, and active customer engagement
    • Lead execution of the capture plan
    • Lead development of win themes, executive summary and meaningful differentiation for proposal efforts
    • Collaborate with proposal management and authors and personally contribute to key sections

    • Expertise with federal contractor business development and capture management best practices across the full capture lifecycle.  This position requires leadership from opportunity identification through proposal submission
    • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to work effectively with a diverse group of managers, industry leaders, and government key stakeholders
    • Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, lead, motivate and influence others to support corporate goals and objectives to produce a winning proposal within budget and schedule constraints
    • Ability to help formulate and execute winning technical, management, past performance, cost and orals presentations strategies. Extensive proposal experience is required.


    • Minimum 10 years of experience within Federal IT capture disciplines
    • Baseline technical knowledge and capabilities preferably including cybersecurity, infrastructure and/or software (e.g., experience as a PM or Technical Leader within the federal IT space)
