    SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. currently has an opening for a skilled senior level Agile Test Engineer

     to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in McLean, VA. The qualified applicant will support Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework to better support the services provided to CA’s customers.  As part of the modernization program, the data lead architect will set and maintain the vision for all Data Engineering aspects of the Program and ensure that this vision is adequately addressed and implemented consistently across all Project teams and Program efforts.


    Works with the System Integration & Test organization, on behalf of the Agile Development Team, to ensure adequate testing is being done throughout the implementation of capabilities.  Implements testing capabilities as part of the Agile Development Team, to include test-driven development and continuous integration and test.


    • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies. Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
    • Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing. Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports
    • Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications
    • Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection
    • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
    • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.


    • Active Secret Clearance required
    • Requires a bachelor's degree in IT and/or other related fields
    • Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience

    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem solving, troubleshooting and documentation skills
    • Ability to work with cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic information security goals.
