    SkyePoint Decisions Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in McLean, VA. The qualified candidate will become part of Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA’s customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Experienced in change management, software version management and functional and physical configuration management. 
    • Establishes and maintains consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.
    • Facilitates the orderly management of system configuration and system changes for such purposes as to revise capability, improve performance, or correct defects.
    • Manages and maintains configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of developed and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products
    • Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks
    • Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development
    • Designs and implements build procedures used to support software product development and COTS product implementations
    • The Configuration Management Specialist reports to the System Team Manager
    • Local travel may be required up to 10% of the time

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must have a current, active Secret (or higher) clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in and six (6) years’ experience
    • Experience with Agile software development lifecycle and processes
    • Understanding of productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages in support of software development
    • Experience supporting an Agile development program

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience supporting IBM CLM-related tools, including Rhapsody
    • Experience supporting SAFe agile development and tools such as JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, Confluence
    • Experience working with or supporting a DevOps tool chain
