  • Overview

    SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a Siebel Product Services engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in McLean, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA’s customers.


    • Supports the existing Siebel CRM application and capabilities to be used on the Program, including working with the customer to obtain and maintain the tools and services necessary to support current functionalities in the Siebel applications and its associated interfaces
    • Troubleshoots issues in existing Siebel IP 2016 based applications, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) and web services written on Oracle SOA platform
    • Participates in installations, patches/updates, provides problem resolution, and supports teams in the use of Siebel CRM application tools used on the Program


    • Must have a current, active Secret (or higher) clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years’ experience
    • At least 3 years of experience maintaining Siebel CRM applications (using at least version 8.1x, or higher such as IP 2015/2016),
    • Experience in Siebel environment setup/installation, Siebel Server Administration and patching of multiple environments on virtual machines running Windows and Linux/Unix Operating Systems
    • Experience using Siebel Server management tools and utilities to import/export and maintain multiple repositories, and Siebel Application Data using ADM and EIM
    • Experience working/configuring and implementing Siebel workflows and Server component groups such as Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Application Object managers, and external adapters (e.g. Web Gate, LDAP, Active Directory, SSO)
    • Understanding of Siebel architecture and experience in monitoring  and troubleshooting application performance including Siebel inbound and outbound web services hosted on enterprise service bus (e.g. Oracle Service Bus)
    • Experience working in Siebel operational environments that involve load balancing with F5 and other third-party HTTP load balancers
    • Hands-on skills installing Siebel patches related to product upgrades and security hardening


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Hands on experience in Siebel application configuration, development of Siebel workflows and integration based capabilities using EAI, and Oracle SOA based web services
    • Experience using puppet
    • Experience having planned and established similar Siebel environments
    • Experience supporting system development, integration and test
    • Experience of software development methodologies, practices, and tools
