  • Overview

    SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to support IT Operations and Maintenance to the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) to ensure every DCAA employee has reliable support and access to the DCAA’s network equipment, email systems, and shared drives and databases to successfully carry out their mission to the Department of Defense. We are currently interviewing for a Systems Administrator to support this initiative in an enterprise-level work environment.  


    • Maintain all Data Center and Cloud management functions to include all facets of system and storage administration tasks, Cloud Migration, Cloud Management, documentation and architecture, design, and integration of new technologies into existing on premise and Cloud systems.
    • Migrating and managing infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) utilizing Mil cloud 2.0, Azure, and AWS Government Cloud services


    • Six (6) years of experience in a client-server environment.
    • Five (5) years of experience in systems administration and analysis.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Data Center and Systems administration experience in VMware and Windows OS
    • Demonstrated experience working with appropriate complex systems administration, database administration, and landscape maintenance.
    • Demonstrated experience maintaining the integrity and security of servers and systems.
    • 2 years of SAN/NAS expertise
    • 2 years of Enterprise Backup and Recovery tool expertise
    • 1 year experience in at least one more Microsoft Applications such as SCCM, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, and Lync/Skype for Business
    • 1 year of PowerShell scripting experience
    • Shift adjustments or on-call support may be required to support operational service outages or to meet contractual service level performance requirements. 
    • Requires DoD 8570 (or DoD 8140) IAT Level II Certification in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 or DOD 8570 “Cyberspace Workforce Management”. This position requires compliance with DOD 8570 IAT continuing education certification for technical administrative access to government systems. 

    Minimum Education Required: 

    • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT discipline.
    • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
