Responsibilities

The Information Technology Project Manager (ITPM) will represent SkyePoint and our team to the EPA and will have the responsibility to ensure that Project Planning, Quality Management, Performance Management, Staffing, Risk Management, Process Improvement, Stakeholder Management, Communications and System-Level Documentation are upheld and maintained to SkyePoint and EPA standards and expectations. As the ITPM, you will be able to provide your experience and techniques to effectively manage program staff activities and aligning resources to support the delivery of the program. The ITPM will focus on project delivery and technical integration, ability to drive IT Strategy and planning changes at the executive levels, oversight of key information technology enablers, and management of project resources.

 

This position is open to remote work with the requirement to manage a geographically dispersed team. Preference for candidates located in Washington, DC or Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC with ability to travel to customer locations, as needed.

 

Qualifications

Demonstrated Ability to:

  • Ability to drive IT Strategy and planning changes at the executive levels, oversight of key information technology enablers, and management of project resources
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize workload based on direction from Government CORs.
  • Proven customer service skills including the ability to focus on building customer relationships and responding to customer needs.
  • Strong coaching and feedback skills.
  • Ability to instill sense of urgency and be able to motivate the same sense of urgency in those under his/her leadership.
  • Scope, plan, schedule, and estimate resources based on program goals to develop program plans addressing business strategy, product launches, and process improvement programs

Qualifications

Skills and Certifications you will bring to the team:

  • Required: B.S. in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Computer Science
  • Required: Certified Associate in Project Management or a Certified Project Management Professional
  • Required: Minimum of five (5) years of program/project a management services on Federal contracts supporting cybersecurity, information assurance, Information System Security Officer, and/or relevant areas
  • Experience with security control selection, implementation, and assessments
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) from management and/or execution positions
  • Preference for EPA or another regulatory agency experience
  • Preference for relevant security certifications (such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CEH)
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation and obtain/maintain an EPA Public Trust clearance
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel, etc.).
